Our Valiant Heroes

Here at Crooked Pine Hollow live 5 wonderful geldings

who hop in our van at a moment's notice, any time of

the day or night to rescue fellow alpacas in distress. 

They travel the speedy 15 minute ride to the University

of Georgia to give their blood when a fellow alpaca

needs it desparately!   Number one is Mickey, who

donates most often. After him is Ghost and Dyno.   

Joining them this week is "Skid" and Noble from

Bedford Falls Alpaca Farm in Warne, NC.

We had a wonderful time here on the farm.  Over 150 people stopped by to visit with our critters and shop in our farm store, now staying open every day.

We would love to share our passion for these animals with you! There is no greater serenity for us than to sit and watch these graceful animals from our back porch. They are so curious and playful that we spend a lot of time laughing at their little antics, too!

Brittany Helwig
Brittany is our eleven year old grand daughter who is full of energy and helps us with "grunt work" with our alpacas. She makes them "people friendly" by walking them regularly. She led Nikkolas and Tangee' thru the show ring at the Palmetto Alpaca Classic where each won second places.
  • Boarding

Should you decide to purchase an alpaca to build your own herd for investment or until you can erect your own farm to house your herd, we will be more than happy to board them for you. We have an excellent alpaca vet, Scott McDermott, DVM, who oversees our herd and can provide references for the care and love we provide here. Charges are $2 per day, which covers feeding, any personal care, and all the T.L.C. they can handle.
  • Transport

We have a two horse trailer and a mini van to transport our alpacas. We transport for others from time to time. Just ask if you can use our assistance. We do not have routine runs. Each trip is by individual need.
