Georgia Alpacas For Sale

Sadly, I am going to have to sell all

the alpacas. I can no longer take care of them by myself.

Funds are not sufficient to keep them since my divorce.

They will be sheared on May 5 and fleece samples will be submitted

so that if you are interested in one of my gorgeous breeders,

you will know their quality.

Their value will be appraised by an alpaca judge/broker in California.

They will also be appraised by someone who can put hands on for a

second opinion.

Results will be available approximately mid June.

If you are a client or former client and you have one you are interested in, please notify me, as your choice will be given preference.

There are 10 dams and 3 males of breeding quality. There are 3 pets who are in need of loving homes. (2 males-1 female) Few have been shown for ribbons as I have not had money to do so.

Some are not as yet registered as I have not had funds for that either.All will be registered before the formal offer for sale.

I have also lost my lease and must find alternate homes by mid September, thereby allowing time to remove fencing and shelter for a final date of Sept 30.

A list of all alpaca supplies from fencing to horse trailer, scales, corral panels, etc. will also be listed.

All eleven of our 2009 rescues have been rehabilitated and placed except for Missy. She is going to stay here with "Gramma." She has been slow to gain weight and fluctuates; besides she is always there for a hug. With a great herdsire for a father like Drambuie, I just feel like I would like to see a cria from her. When she is ready, she will be bred to Walnut Knoll Farm's multiple blue ribbon winner, Nighthawk.

All are with in an hours driving distance from our farm and I can check on them should I feel an urge to see them. Most of them are a quick 10 minute drive from me inWinterville.

They are fairly well bred as far as we can tell. Their heritage includes PPPeruvian Mr. President, Peruvian Drambuie G220, PPPeruvian Cordero, and PPeruvian Fidel. They hail from Accoyo, Alianza, and Macusani bloodlines. We are expecting great progeny from the girls.

Of course, tour groups are always welcome! Price is $5 each person. Exceptions are made for special kids. Bring a picnic lunch or we will provide the picnic lunch for an extra $2 for kids and $5 for adults!

Brittany is our twelve year old grand daughter who makes our alpacas "people friendly" by walking them regularly.


Boarding Should you decide to purchase an alpaca to build your own herd for investment or until you can erect your own farm to house your herd, we will be more than happy to board them for you. We have an excellent alpaca vet, Nicole Ferguson, DVM, who oversees our herd and can provide references for the care and love we provide here. Charges are $2 per dayplus costs, including any personal care, and all the T.L.C. they can handle.	Transport We have a two horse trailer and a mini van to transport our alpacas. We transport for others from time to time. Just ask if you can use our assistance. We do not have routine runs. Each trip is by individual need.
